At this point in the game, you know something big is coming—but nothing truly prepares you for The Heist. In this episode of The Corpo and Streetkid, Brian and I jump into arguably the most pivotal mission in the game, and I’ll be honest: this one got me in the feels.
We dissect every step of the infiltration into Konpeki Plaza, from the hilarious and awkward front desk improv (Jackie deserves an Oscar for that one, I'm serious) to the nerve-wracking use of the Flathead and the rising tension as Yorinobu Arasaka's unexpected arrival puts everything on the edge of collapse.
We talked about those small but powerful character moments—Jackie daydreaming about taking Misty to the hotel bar, his nervous jokes masking something deeper, and T-Bug's no-nonsense attitude holding the whole thing together...until it all falls apart.

The moment Jackie and I hide in the media cabinet is the peak of cinematic drama. The scan, the confrontation, the murder—and then that crushing realization—this is the point of no return.
Everything changes from here.
What really hit me the first time, though, was the unraveling of Jackie’s dream. He fiercely believed that this gig was their ticket to the big leagues.
I won’t lie—I still get emotional talking about it. I’ve played this game repeatedly and still ask, “What could we have done differently? Could we have moved faster? Could Delamain have done more?”
We also dug into Yorinobu’s motivations—was he a rebel with a cause, or just another corpo poser playing both sides? From Dex’s betrayal to T-Bug’s tragic demise, we unraveled how trust fractures in Night City, even among those closest to you.
This episode was heavy but necessary. The Heist isn’t just a turning point for V—it’s a gut punch that propels you into Act 2, leaving behind grief, betrayal, and a lot of unanswered questions.
