On a Collision Course with Chaos

We’re in the next round, chooms. We’re at the beginning of Act 2.
In this episode of The Corpo and Streetkid, we start with V waking up in a shower—literally and narratively—and everything that’s been simmering since the game’s explosive start begins to boil over.
It's a massive shift in the game’s pace and scope, and we tried to do it justice by pulling apart each thread of chaos that begins here.

We kick things off with Goro Takemura—our favorite disgraced corpo bodyguard samurai—and his offer to join forces against Yorinobu Arasaka. He’s intense, righteous, and still clinging to the Arasaka code in an admirable and wildly frustrating way. I always go back and forth with Goro.
Do I trust him? No. Do I love how complicated he is? Absolutely.
Let us not forget our first shouting match with Johnny—inside and outside our heads.

After that, we have two tasks ahead of us. Talk to Rogue to get answers and track down Evelyn Parker.
We start with Judy in hopes she can lead the way. Evelyn's not answering her phone, so when we reach Judy for answers, the tension is real—she’s protective, hurt, and not eager to cooperate. If you play it right (and aren’t a jerk), she’ll crack just enough to point you toward the dollhouse, Clouds—and deeper into the Westbrook district, where things get weirder and more dangerous.
We also formally meet Rogue at the Afterlife. She knows everything, and she knows it before you do. Johnny (never one to keep quiet) jumps in to push us toward her, and not without his motives. It’s the first time you feel like Johnny might be more than just a parasite in your head—or at least a parasite with a plan.
From there, we get to see Panam Palmer—shouting her way out of Rogue’s office and straight into our hearts (as fans, we believe it now, but the first time, I’m not so sure). She’s fire and grit, and her introduction sets the tone for one of the game’s most unforgettable relationships.
This episode wasn’t just about choices—it was about branching paths, loyalty, survival, and defining who V really is.
As Act 2 opens, so does the world.
The stakes are higher, the alliances shakier, and the chaos is just getting started.
